On May 24, the 15th Shanghai & 3rd Yangtze River Delta International Student Dragon Boat Competition was successfully held at East China University of Science and Technology's Fengxian Campus. Over 30 university teams from Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui gathered for this dynamic event combining sports and cultural exchange.
After nearly three months of intensive training, Fudan University's international student dragon boat team clinched 2rd Prize with remarkable teamwork. This year's team comprised 30 students from 19 countries including Jordan, France, Russia, Japan, Australia, and South Africa, spanning disciplines from humanities to STEM, and academic levels from language learners to PhD candidates.
Through the Dragon Boat Festival traditions, participants didn’t just see China but truly experienced China — embracing values of unity and gaining deeper insight into Chinese festive culture.
