On December 19, Fudan University hosted its 2026 International Students New Year Gala at the multifunction hall on the 13th floor of Guanghua Tower on the Handan Campus. Nearly 200 attendees gathered for the celebration, including representatives from university departments, faculty from the International Students Office, international student alumni, and international students from around the world.
Su Kui, director of the International Students Office, delivered a New Year speech, reviewing the achievements of the international student work over the past year and extending New Year's wishes to all students.
The gala continued with a series of lively performances by international students, energizing the audience and setting a festive tone for the evening.
During the awards ceremony, honors were presented to Outstanding Fudan Global Connect U Student Ambassadors, Outstanding Contributors to the International Students New Media Center, and the Fudan University International Students Dragon Boat Team. The gala also featured the trailer of The Moon is Yours, a documentary film centered on Fudan's international students, which sparked strong anticipation among the audience.
